Peter Pavia is a New York City crimewriter with roots in Rochester. When his publisher suggested he book a media tour in his native city, he contacted Gleason PR. We arranged for Mr. Pavia to make two appearances for book readings at different Barnes & Noble locations. We generated an article in the major daily, the Democrat and Chronicle, a major feature in a hometown weekly, calendar listings in the D&C, the weeklies and in BN's in-house newsletters. Gleason PR arranged for Mr. Pavia to be interviewed on WHAM 1180AM Radio -- a 50,000-watt clear-channel station heard throughout the Northeast United States and Canada. Perhaps the highlight was his TV appearance on WROC-TV's "Wake Up" morning show.

Both BN Customer Service Managers said the Cuba Project events were the best promoted ever at their stores, and to Peter's credit, among the most entertaining and interesting.
