When an 80-year-old family restaurant decided to build its first website and re-design its menus, they asked colleagues for recommendations. Gleason PR got the call. The new website gives Critic's Restaurant the look of a much larger corporate restaurant chain while retaining it's local-market family charm. We've added a chalkboard special on the homepage, which lets Critic's managers promote daily specials with a click of the mouse.

Critics also hired Gleason PR for original food photography, and a few of our images are featured below and in the center panel of this page.

Food & Restaurant Promotion

Ozzie's Restaurant hired AdWorks to produce a 30-second spot promoting lunch and dinner fare at the Hollywood pop-culture theme restaurant. Our challenge was to do justice to the delicious food at Ozzie's. Food photography and videography is very tricky, requiring special skills and preparation. We brought in the right crew with a talented food stylist, and the result is a stylish and effective spot.

Gleason PR Graphic Design

BILL GRAY'S
Gleason PR was approached in mid-2006 to provide graphic design and original food photography for a series of print and internet ads for Bill Gray's Restaurants, a 15-unit chain in Upstate New York.

This particular ad was to appear in Bills' Digest. We incorporated the Buffalo Bills' colors in the ad, using their familiar red bolt that adds a sense of motion to the Buffalo on their helments, and of course, a football and goal posts.

Low-budget food photography was achieved in-house with our own digital equipment and strategic lighting and backdrops.

 

 

Presenting food in an enticing pictorial or video is one of our strengths.

Bad food images are worse than a bad joke. Often, they do more harm than good and frankly, I would rather do without them.
