GLEASON PR NAMED AGENCY OF RECORD FOR PMQ's NY PIZZA SHOW

NYC PRESS GRABS A SLICE OF THE PIE

NEW YORK CITY - March 2008 -- We wanted to prove that PMQ Pizza Magazine made a wise choice in hiring food-savvy Gleason PR to handle media relations for its 2008 NY Pizza Show. The early indications? Gleason PR and PMQ make a pretty good combination plate.

We look forward to working with PMQ Pizza Magazine, the international voice of the pizza industry, for ongoing programs as its agency of record. Already, we have discussed some strategic brand development plans and ideas.

Good luck to the US Pizza Team in Paris, France!

NY PIZZA SHOW A HIT WITH
INTERNATIONAL PRESS

Gleason PR used the real-time power of its NYNewswire site to blast press releases out to local media for individual winners at the NY Pizza Show, including Finland's America's Plate team that defeated Italy, Australia, the United States and China. Through an industry contact in Finland, we secured a placement on a key European wire service, and the release and photo were picked up by Finland's two major TV networks and a variety of print/internet sources.

Hey, Pizza Man! Fans and papparazzi beckoned John Howe from a waiting car after his appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly, asking for autographs and photos from the Fastest American Pizza Maker. Click on this photo to see the copyrighted photo that appears on the ABC.com website.

Getting on the Live with Regis and Kelly show is no easy task. It's one of the premiere placements because they have millions of LOYAL viewers, just 3 slots most days, and their interviews are primarily with celebrities. So I'm not promising we can do this for everyone, okay?

John Howe was outstanding, keeping it fast and fun and lively. Judge for yourself, and give me a call if you want John to make an appearance.

Juan Hermosillo Wins Individual Pizza-Spinning Dual

Juan Hermosillo's Orange Ninja routine earned a near-perfect score from three judges, while Casey Cole of Franklin, Ohio and Ryan LaRose of Orlando, Fla. finished second and third, respectively, in the International Individual Championships. Hermosillo's theatrics and athletic ability included body rolls and spinning pizza dough while doing handstands, which won the admiration of the crowd. He is a manager at Pizza Pizza in Toronto, Ontario.

Casey Cole Earns Spot on Gold Medal Pizza Team

Casey narrowly avoided being snowed in with a wild Ohio winter storm, but he made his performance count. This video was shot in 2007, and demonstrates some of Casey Cole's talents as a world-class pizza spinner. If you watch closely, the shot with the yellow balloons is from our Pizza All-Stars event in Rochester last fall!
